Dialogue 1
May 14, 2001

BishopEdward:
Know this you whom stand on this ground, there are messages to be heard. Know this and be warned the wheels of confusion have been set in motion by hands that seek to deceive you. The followers seek to hear what is false in hopes of a plan.

The people stray when left alone. Must you require a hand to guide you in all that is to be done? Take upon you the words that I bring and do as you will. Be warned and understand, do not venture down a path that ye know not the way, for ye shall be lost in the wood.

Your people select that of what they wish to hear. Take unto your people to understand. It will be needed in the days to come.

Dialogue 4
June 1, 2001

BishopEdward looks around the temple.

BishopEdward bows deeply.

BishopEdward prays to Enid.

BishopEdward:
You whom stand on this ground, the gods demand respect, do not work thy crafts on holy ground.

Synsan: as you say. I shall spread your word.

BishopEdward nods.

BishopEdward prays to Enid.

BishopEdward:
To you each day I task, bring forth those who follow in light. Make clear unto them the way to the temple.

BishopEdward looks around the temple.

Elfkins: it shall be done

BishopEdward:
Turn away not one among the many that shall come. Those of darkness seek to know that which is in the light, those of balance seek to know what is within.

BishopEdward calls the temple to silence.

Let us pray.

Oh Enid, Goddess of Peace, bring thy blessings to the faithful. Oh Enid, Goddess of Nature, spread thy bounty upon our lands. Synsan prays along with father. Oh Enid, Goddess of Romance, share thy grace within our hearts. May the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name.

You whom are here why have you come? Why do you seek the temple of our Goddess? Are you curious to see what miracles she will work?

Are miracles what you need in order to believe? Or have you come because you know, in your heart that Peace, and Love, and the Harmony of Nature are the highest truths, the only truths capable of binding human, giant, and elf alike.

But even these truths, truths that Enid, in her wisdom, has given us to know, cannot stand unguarded against vain and jealous gods. Gods who seek not the bounty of the true believers but the glory of their own accursed names. We need look no further than Leinster, once the jewel of our land, to see the fruits of such conceit!

Be warned. Praise Enid!

those present praised Enid.

Dialogue 5
June 4, 2001

BishopEdward:
News I carry to you should be written for all to see. Mark well and remember. Upon your people the sign should be given of that which you follow. Instruct all whom you encounter.

Of the dark, Of the light Of the balance. For I am BishopEdward of the light. Look upon me for the way.

BishopEdward prays to Enid.

Dialogue 6

BishopEdward:

Dialogue 7
June 9, 2001

BishopEdward prays to Enid.

those present prayed to Enid
You have come to this place to hear word.

BishopEdward:
Let us pray.

Oh Enid, Goddess of Peace, bring thy blessings to the faithful. Oh Enid, Goddess of Nature, spread thy bounty upon our lands. Oh Enid, Goddess of Romance, share thy grace within our hearts. May the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name. Hold thy tongue and hear the words.

Take notice you who stand in this place. As the days expire, so shall your wait.

BishopEdward looks around the temple.

The words are changing. Draw thy swords. Raise thy shield in defense. My people I can see that you have grown tired in your wait, arise! Pay heed to that which has been foretold. One can not help that which is dead, your powers will not work on decaying flesh.

Troubled times are to come, make ready for them. The ones of the dark scurry around and do not understand that of their prophet. False wisdom is far worse than no wisdom.

They believe in what they want to hear and twist the dark ones words into something they are not. This false wisdom shall have impact upon others of this land. Make notice of deeds done and do not repeat them. The ones of balance are ever vigilant but their ranks have become small, as have ours.

It is required that the following increase MANY fold. Be kind to those whom enter this place, be it evil or good. Do not give commands to those whom gather. Take under your arm those whom have been born and bring them to the temple.

Instill in them understanding. Mark and remember all that has been told to you this day. Understand. Poor faith will be your undoing.

BishopEdward:
You.

((At this point, BishopEdward turned to look at NerfanderAnder))

NerfanderAnder: Yes Bishop

Dialogue 8
June 11, 2001

BishopEdward:
Oh Enid, Goddess of Peace, bring thy blessings to the faithful. Oh Enid, Goddess of Nature, spread thy bounty upon our lands and repair that which will be damaged. Oh Enid, Goddess of Romance, share thy grace within our hearts. May the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name.

RISE AND KNOW THIS! Anger strikes at the heart of our goddess! The heavens rumble! Hear the warnings people of the land, or perish where you stand.

Do not act foolish in thy gods name. Do not mock that of the word which brings you wisdom. Should the wisdom come from the dark then thy shall heed the warnings. If the word of balance falls upon thy ears then open your minds to the thoughts and understand.

In time to come you shall cry out in pain, "My gods save thee!" but whom shall save thee? Make note of what thou says unto thy gods, for if thy tongue is ill, it shall mean certain death. Cries shall be heard in this land, whom shall venture into the wood to save thee?

Hold close to thee thy sword and shield. By magic and might you shall protect. Why curse those of the different paths? One day you shall need their wisdom and they shall remember unto you their treatment.

Hear the message of those whom come from thy gods. Wisdom comes from all. Seek out these places of knowledge and hear of them. Fill your temples with words from the Gods so that ye shall be saved. Forget not where the light has came.

The ones of Darkness speak of the Goddess being powerless to help. Have faith. They know not of what they speak. Speak not of things you do not understand, for you will surely cause confusion in the land.

The one called Elmer is wise in his understandings as is that of Talmorr.

Talmorr bows

Those whom come to offer aid unto thee, stretch out thy hands and pull forth. The one called Amantha, hear me child of light, do not apologize, you have done well in the eyes of Enid.

Goddess I hear and obey.
BishopEdward nods.
As you wish it shall be done.

My people, Enid tasks you. Seek out the city of Enid. In this city thou shall make camp and preach thy word. Come unto this temple to hear of the word. Take forth the word into the city.

Do not spend thy time in one place. Move among the people. Be warned.

AULY ZWL OBHHX.

Dialogue 9
June 17, 2001

BishopEdward:
Let us pray.

The time of affliction grows near. We raise our voices in your name and prepare for the sacrifices that must be made to restore the peace and harmony with which you have for so long redeemed this land. We mark our place beside the ancient priests of nature in readiness to take our stand.

May the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name.

My people think upon this. A man was walking through the ruins the other day, resplendent in his wealth and power, unimpressed by the fires that burned around him, intent only on gaining for himself yet one more mark of prosperity.

A beggar came up to this man and asked for some blessing, some small piece of fortune by which he might improve his lot. The man turned him away saying "I do not give gold to beggars." Was this man wrong to do this? Was his heart made stone by his wealth?

Later, when asked why he did not share his bounty with the poor, the man said: "Who in all the lands is truly poor? What need can one have that one cannot fill on his own?" And so it is.

Such is the bounty our Goddess has given to us all. But what the man had forgotten as he walked were the things before his eyes; the fires at his feet and the rubble strewn about him. Familiar. Uninteresting. Forgotten.

But a sign of remembrance. For truly it must be said, never can we take for granted that which we have been given. The signs of warning grow ever clearer. The fires may soon die, but a fresh storm rolls within the haze.

Take not for granted that which we now enjoy. Take not for granted your wealth, your power, all the things you believe you already know. They are all as seeds blown by the wind. The fires may soon die, but a caldron burns on the horizon.

Our Goddess says unto you: Beware! There is a place where the mists remain undiminished. A place of fire and water. There the veil begins to thin. And the way may soon be opened. Beware that place and guard against it.

Let us pray.

Blessed Enid, I seek my place. By the light in the forest. Show me the way That I may stand in harmony with those who call to you and together brace our sanctuary against the fires and stones cast upon us from the mists.

May the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name.

BishopEdward bows deeply.

Dialogue 10

BishopEdward:

You have selected wisely. You know what you must do.

BishopEdward:

Dialogue 11
June 22, 2001

BishopEdward:
Let us pray.

Blessed Enid, the people seek their place. Mother of light hear our prayers, aid your children in the ways of light. Together let us brace our sanctuary against the fires and stones cast upon us from the mists. May the faeries be blessed, in Enid's name.

My people, I have been ever present, in days past, watching your ways. Your people do not prepare themselves for that which is hidden in the mists. Many shall fall under your gaze.

Understand. Command none that enter this temple. If the tongue that speaks into thy ear is ill, then remove their voice from thy ear. If your gifts to the gods vanish to assist someone else, let it be so.

Concern yourself not with petty matters. Doing so will cause the message and understanding to be lost in the consumption of your time. Do not stand idle as the world passes by, seek to understand. There is work to be done.

My people I leave you to ponder this. Should the way become opened, how would thou react?

A spark stands not a chance against water, as a drop stands not a chance against fire.

Cavaleer bows

BishopEdward looks upon you both.

BishopEdward:
You.

RubbieDucker: Yes

BishopEdward:
You are well?

RubbieDucker: I am improving

BishopEdward:
Welcome to you that gather in this place. In the days past you have been left alone. Hear now the message I bring to you.

Collect your wisdom. Our goddess makes ready and so shall her people. Rest and prepare for your time is short.

Those of the light, you cannot help that which no longer carries life. In this way you are powerless.

BishopEdward hears the cries from the mists.

It grows.

BishopEdward feels the air rushing into the temple.
The mists shift.

YoungOne: How long do we have to prepare?

Speak if you will.

NerfanderAnder: We are blessed and humbled that Enid has answered our prayers. What tasks may we perform for our Goddess?

BishopEdward:
The word has been given to you in past days.

NerfanderAnder: I understand, we should rest and prepare then?

BishopEdward:
Do as you will.

NerfanderAnder: Can we find other changes to our Realm other than in Leinster?

BishopEdward:
The lands are ever changing.

NerfanderAnder: Can we as mortals open the new cave entrance in Leinster?

BishopEdward:
Should a divine hand guide you, then you shall see the way.

What have you come to learn?

NerfanderAnder: How to best serve Enid.

BishopEdward:
Each must serve as they will. My time expires, our goddess calls.

Do not be caught off guard.

Dialogue 21
July 23, 2001

Darceia was saddened by missing BishopEdward again...and she prayed.

BishopEdward:
My precious child your prayers have been heard.

Darceia: Oh my lord you are wonderful My goddess Enid is truly wonderful. I really cried when I saw the beauty restored to Leinster. I was here in the beginning and it was all shops...but she has made it beautiful and I'm very grateful

BishopEdward:
In her people our goddess is well pleased. For you and for all the gifts are given.

Darceia: I want to give gifts to my lady Enid, she has made joy in my life. She is the light to touch all our hearts. Being in her temple, and praying together with her followers has made me smile and made me realize the joys in life. It made me realize how beautiful life really is if you just stop and look.

I take in my heart all the beauty and healing and love she creates and it fills my heart to the brim. I am thankful for her love and dedication to her followers and I feel her light shining into my heart.

Thank you Bishop Edward for helping us understand Enid's desires and helping us make her smile as she has made us smile.

BishopEdward:
Have faith, our goddess hears the words of the people. In days time you shall see more works from the goddess of light.

Darceia: I cannot wait to see the glorious marks of our Lady. Serving Enid is my breath of fresh air after being stuck in a dark hole. Thank you for coming My Lord. It means so much to my faithful heart.

BishopEdward:
In you and her people, our goddess is pleased. My time expires.

Elfkins: You bring us news My Lord ?

BishopEdward:
A simple rose, is what you shall require in the days to come. An offering to our goddess. A mark. You shall come to understand.

BishopEdward looks upon the people gathered.

Heed the warnings that have fallen upon thy ears. You have heard many things. Do not forget.

Elmer: Bishop Shall they be engraved with our names?

Dialogue 23

BishopEdward:
Gather the people. A message I bring.

Eladamri: It shall be done

BishopEdward hears screams from the mists.

BishopEdward:
My people come close. I am drained.

Let us pray. Mother of light hear our prayers, aid your children in the ways of light. Together let us brace our sanctuary against the fires and stones cast upon us from the mists.

May the faeries be blessed, in Enid's name.

My people,

Braeshan: Gather close, friends...

BishopEdward:
Our goddess gives you treasures of life, seek and rejoice in them. They are given to the people for the faith and the love shown.

BishopEdward is distracted by the smell carried upon the breeze.

Carry thy marks of love to the healing lands. There your faith shall be marked. The ground shall yield a token of love. A word of warning to you, my people.

Honor thy goddess with all your heart, for it is she who shall save you. I hold back that which is inevitable.

The mists, ever moving, are ineffable. The pungent smell of decay is ever present. Death, in this land, shall become common. The power grows.

Silence!

BishopEdward listens to the whispers from the heavens.

I understand my goddess. I shall make ready the path.

Dialogue 24
July 31, 2001

BishopEdward:
A message comes. I shall return this day.

Make ready.

~then~

BishopEdward:
A mark of your faith is required. Seek out the city that our goddess heals. There you shall place upon the ground a simple rose. You do this to show of your devotion and love.

When our goddess is pleased with your offerings, the ground shall yield a token of love unto her people. This is done to aid our goddess in the struggle. The marks that have been placed are noted. More are required.

A token of faith, once made, has fulfilled its purpose. Do not concern yourselves with the objects of your offerings. It is the act of offering that gives our Goddess her strength.

As the days pass you shall become aware of messages from the past. Seek out your writings and come to understand all that has been given. Your wisdom is needed. Your faith shall be noted. Your courage is to be proven.

Be it known.

The dedication and honor given unto our Goddess by the faithful is to be returned to them in kind. She doth therefore decree that a festival be held within the healed land, where marks of faith shall be given, and from which will spring the return of her love unto her people.

What shall spring forth from your faith is a sanctuary, a new place to dwell within the light of Our Goddess.

She listens. Speak to her.

Dialogue 25
August 1, 2001

RubbieDucker: Hail

BishopEdward:
Welcome to this place dark child.

Dyno: Hail BishopEdward

BishopEdward:
Hail to you my son. Come into this place. Here you shall find comfort.

I have come as requested by our goddess. Speak of what you will.

Mackdanife: Hail, BishopEdward
Mackdanife bows before Enid

BishopEdward:
Do not bow before me. I am not a god.

Mackdanife: I bowed before Enid.

RubbieDucker: May I speak Bishop? I have a question.

BishopEdward:
Speak of what you will.

RubbieDucker: Why is Newcomer the only one who seems to be concerned with the battle beyond the Mists? They destroyed her species, yet those of Enid and Despothes only speak of festivals and gathering places. Are they not concerned as well?

BishopEdward:
The messenger you speak of is not the only concerned. The power required grows in the land. Those of the balance have seen it come. The land gives unto them a blessing.

Dyno: Bishop, we know that the Dark Temple has been going through a time of testing, we will be tested as well?

RubbieDucker: Newcomer speaks of the battles beyond the Mists.. do you and Herald fight the same battle as she, or another?

BishopEdward:
My people your questions shall be answered. Hear me. The mists hold many battles.

Mackdanife: When do the mists open, either to us or against us? Many grow impatient, and wonder if it is really going to happen.

BishopEdward:
Understand that in the course of time they shall indeed open. Be not in the way for you shall surely fall. You seek to fight what you do not understand.

You have been told, 'Only the gods shall save you.' And so they shall. Give thanks to the Goddess of light.

Mackdanife: We understand the time, and seek to learn more from you about what we face. Herald said we know not enough, and that the remedy shall be forthcoming.

BishopEdward:
And so it shall.

Think upon this. Your faith, it is a tool used by the Gods. The place in which you stand gathers this power. With this power the people are saved. Should you not honor your gods?

Mackdanife: We humbly wish to see something concrete about these battles the gods fight, for we lay candles, and rings and roses by the thousands.

BishopEdward:
My son. You have seen the work of he who walks between. From the ground his people are given a token. And from the ground this shall grow, with the faith and love of the people. Understand this, the things that are done for you and this land are worked by the gods.

Speak...You...Why do you stand silent?

SolomanKane: I am here to learn.

BishopEdward:
Then mark and remember all that is given to you.

BishopEdward casts invulnerability on all present

Shall you resist the aura that I shall give?

RubbieDucker: No sir

BishopEdward:
Then you shall be given.

BishopEdward casts invulnerability on those present

The places of worship give power to our gods. Visit them. Rejoice in them. Build them. For it is with you and in you that these places come.

I come to you this day to rejoice in your love for our goddess. The battles are fought within the mists daily. When the time comes, the mists shall pour out what is spoken of.

My time with you expires.

Speak.

RubbieDucker: Can you tell us more of that which will come from the mists? More ideas as to what it is to be? We have been told, the beast of ancient times. Can you say more?

BishopEdward:
To speak of what is to come is to change the course. It hears.

RubbieDucker: It breathes, I believe, Herald said as well. Interesting.

BishopEdward:
You have made your plans to attack. The life which you seek to destroy learns of your ways. What should it do?

RubbieDucker: Do not all followings seek to destroy this life as well, and not just the Dark? I thought it was a threat to all.

BishopEdward:
It is.

In the light of this day I have come to you.

My time expires.

From the ground the power grows to aid the gods.
