Dialogue 4
June 2, 2001

Newcomer notices Greyhame.

Newcomer:
Grey one.

Greyhame: Yes Newcomer?

Newcomer:
You have an active intellect. You have been troubled in the past. You sought your identity. Have you now found this with the one I serve?

Newcomer:
Speak.

Greyhame: Yes, I spent much time within myself and I have come to find that Duach is my lord.

Newcomer:
The test has been long, but your logic has returned you. It has been noted well.

Dialogue 6
June 6, 2001

Newcomer glares.

Newcomer:
Do you feel such security in your roles that you dare to defile this temple? Are your words and actions those of leaders? This temple is not to be defiled

~and she logged off~
~we all prayed and such and she came back~

Newcomer:
Because of your past loyalty I have spoken to the one I serve on your behalf. Your conduct lies on my hands. You have been loyal. Dare not to defile this temple again.

You are to figure in that which comes. You are those to whom others look for guidance. Your conduct while in this temple must always be worthy of the path you have chosen.

PhoenixStar: It is understood Newcomer. Our actions were inappropriate. Please forgive us.

Newcomer looks at you.
Very well. It is erased. Continue your work as your loyalty has dictated.

Newcomer nods.

Disclaimer: The actions which prompted this appearence WILL NOT be disclosed. So don't even bother asking us. We are only sharing this experience so others know...All that is said and done in the Temples of our Gods is seen and heard.

Dialogue 7
June 8, 2001

Newcomer:
You.

Heroine: chia she speaks to you.

Newcomer:
Be alert to what you wish for. What is wished for may not be your desire.

It is well.

I bring a message from the one I serve.

Gold One.

EvilCait: Yes Newcomer?

Newcomer:
Approach.

You wish to know if your protection of our creatures is correct. You are wise.

The garden goddess has brought skills to protect. She speaks of flowers and healing. Those who follow the one I serve will trample her gardens. She is powerless. It is fitting that her skills be used to protect those who will destroy her.

EvilCait: I will continue to do so.

Newcomer:
You have decided well.

YiraDR: Newcomer, what of us? Those who walk between?

Newcomer:
The one I serve bids me tell those he protects.

Greyhame: What of the count Newcomer? Is it a worry for us, or should we not be involved in such matters.

Newcomer:
Do not concern yourself with counts. You have a greater test to come. Now is the time to become great in your skills. You will require all skills in the tests to come. Many will die. You must survive. The weak will not survive. Use this time to learn.

Dialogue 8
June 11, 2001

Newcomer:
Silence in this temple! In the Great Room I sit with the one I serve. We plan of what must be done. And through the mists I hear your dishonor. Are you one with the one serve?

Answer!

all present responded yes

Then if you fight among yourselves, can you ever win?

all present answered no

Then honor must prevail. There is a place for each of you. There was a time of testing. I waited. I watched. Many of your periods passed before I returned. Many of you were tested. There is a place for all who hold honor in the darkness. Only the one I serve will mark that place. Do you hear my words?

all present answered yes

You have no leader above all others save myself and the one I serve. As of now you must earn that place.

Your arguments among each other have marked this day new. You have a place. Fear that not. Some of you will die in the cause of your faith. But the one I serve will not abandon you.

It is clear you require a place of meditation. Hear this then. Seek out your village. Be prepared to defend it. You are of the darkness, so seek those who may see in the darkness. You are of the darkness. Hold that.

I return to the Great Room and shall expect not to hear the dishonor that prevents the planning.

~then she returned and said~

Newcomer nods at Watcher.

Newcomer:
Loyal ones. Gather and hear my words. Approach.

Newcomer looks at you.

Mark this. All who were tested and passed remain. None who were your leaders are cast away.

Newcomer glances at B0rt.

All have a place. My anger was that of one who must protect the one she serves. Embrace your brothers and sisters in darkness. Even those who test you are valuable. Each must find the way to pass the test which has yet to come.

Look upon my face. Do you see the signs of past battles there? I have passed through trials that would have broken you long ago. It was in passing those tests that I evolved to my present form. I understand your frustration and impatience. It is only with faith in your selves and each other that you will survive what is to come.

The period of watching ended what was. My anger with you is passed. Do not fear. You are the strength of the darkness. Even those loyal who are not on this sacred ground now. The time of your battle is drawing close. The key was damaged. This is not well.

Newcomer looks at WarriorGiant.

Approach, Guardian of the Offerings.

Guardian, the one who sees through your eyes was once returned from her path. She was in danger and so the one I serve bade me to return her from the danger.

But the mists may require all to return to that danger soon. If you are not prepared, if you are not skilled, it will be your doom. The key to the portal was damaged in the lifting of the mists. Find your village that you may rest and meditate while you can.

Newcomer looks at you.

WarriorGiant: Yes newcomer, i understand.

Newcomer:
You will do well for the one I serve.

Paratanko: Newcomer may I ask a question?

Newcomer:
Who dares ask of one he does not follow?

Paratanko bows deeply.

Paratanko: Newcomer I would like to know who Baur is.

Newcomer:
Very well, as proof of my anger passing I will answer one question. You know of the true messengers. Speak to me not of those who seek their fame through confusion.

Paratanko bows deeply.
There will be many more who will test your resolve. I must return to the one I serve. He requires my counsel.

Dialogue 9
June 14, 2001

Newcomer:
Gold one, come near. Your strength is well noted.

Newcomer:
Why have the voices fallen silent, Gold one?

EvilCait: Which voices do you speak of Newcomer?

Newcomer:
In the halls I wait and listen to voices carried by the mists.

EvilCait: Do you speak of the voices of the loyal?

Newcomer:
I do, Gold one.

EvilCait: There are many questions that plague us.

Newcomer:
I will answer one question from one who has kept vigil so well. Ask your question.

EvilCait: I understand from your previous visit the the former leadership of this following has been dissolved. Is this correct?

Newcomer: There are none who lead above all others save myself and the one I serve.

EvilCait: This was unclear to some.

Newcomer:
Do you require more? There is a reason for this. It is not punishment. It is to prepare for that which soon comes

EvilCait: I understand.

Newcomer:
The one I serve will soon ask much of you.

EvilCait: I will do anything that He requires of me.

Newcomer:
That is not in question, Gold one. To serve my Lord of the Darkness well, you must all be free of the titles of this world. All have served him well. Take this word to those of the darkness.

The one I serve is well pleased with all. My Lord of the Darkness smiles on all who honor him. And I who protect him am pleased. Soon I will require of the followers their chosen place. They grow stronger each day in their faith.

From the strength of their faith do we survive. From your faith, my Lord of Darkness grows stronger. Has your question been answered, Gold one?

EvilCait: Yes, Newcomer, many thanks.

Newcomer nods.

Soon, I will return to hear of your chosen place. We must now seek one who will repair the key. If we fail, your battles will be fierce.

EvilCait: How shall we recognize this person?

Newcomer:
You will not know of the one. He is of another species of which you know not. Only the immortal ones may seek him. He is the one who brought the mists. The key must be repaired. Do not hide the voices. All must know.

Dialogue 10
June 17, 2001

Newcomer examines the offerings of the altar.

Newcomer:
These are the crafts of those who see by night. The offerings are well received.

You have found a town of ancient honor.

poof

~she reappeared in a few minutes~

Newcomer:
The crafts of those who toil in the darkness have pleased the one I serve.

You.

Raiven: Yes Newcomer. I am listening

Newcomer:
You have waited long. Your vigil is well kept.

Raiven: it has been many hours that I have waited to meet you Newcomer. Thank You Newcomer.

Newcomer:
The crafts of these who see in the darkness have lightened the heart of the one I serve.

It is well.

Dialogue 11

Newcomer:
Your heart is true of which is required.

Little one, I returned you from the desert when you neared danger.

Morningdove: I know.

Newcomer:
Your form has changed. Your prayers are heard.

Morningdove: I have gotten my own account. I was using my husbands account.

Newcomer:
Do not fear of your strength. The wish in your heart is true. It is noted anew.

Dialogue 12

Dialogue 13
June 20, 2001

Newcomer:
You.

N0RGrimlock: Hail Newcomer

Newcomer:
You sought to rectify that which you saw as wrong

N0RGrimlock: Yes

Newcomer:
Do not deny the favor of your deed. Your language is not of my kind. Assist me.

N0RGrimlock: How may I assist you?

Newcomer looks at the ground beneath her feet.

Newcomer:
What is your word for these?

N0RGrimlock: Offerings

Newcomer nods.

Newcomer:
The mortal ones who remove these offerings are seen. Do not be overly concerned. They only seal a fate of their own design.

The one I serve finds the favor in the giving, not of the taking. They are but a symbol of that found deeper within you. Fate watches and waits for the time.

None can escape.

Dialogue 14
June 21, 2001

Newcomer selects an item for closer examination.

poof

~ and later that day ~

Newcomer:
Do not despair of these which you call the Offerings. They are but a symbol of that deeper within you.

There are many within your land who make such to the one I serve. Not all come to the temple. But all who who raise their voice to the one I serve are heard. No matter where they are in this land.

Newcomer walks over to Sharny

Newcomer:
Is your question answered?

Sharny: yes ..and ty M'lady

Dialogue 15
June 21, 2001

Newcomer:
You have returned to the temple. It is noted.

You.

Scraps: yes ?

Newcomer:
You have hidden power.

Do not concern yourselves with these you call Offerings. Those fates are sealed by those of greater power.

poof

~ then a few moments later ~

Newcomer glances darkly across the temple.

Yet again you call me from the Hall of Plans.

untitled: NewComer

Newcomer:
Your language is not of my kind. Have I not said that you are all noticed?

You.

Ramandu: yes.

Newcomer:
Your loyalty is well noted.

Ramandu: thank you.

Newcomer:
You.

untitled: me?

Newcomer:
All who hold honor in the one I serve are noted well.

untitled stares at newcomer.

Newcomer:
Each will be noted in time. Do not waste your efforts now.

Before the phase is out, many of you will die for the one I serve. But you will find a reward.

Do not concern yourself with those without honor. Their fate has been sealed by their actions.

Dialogue 17
June 25, 2001

Newcomer:
Those respect not the sanctity of this temple seal their fate. Summon the darkness to this temple.

I will return.

~she returned and said ~

Newcomer:
Do not fear that your loyalty is not noted. It is well noted. It is time for the choosing.

Have you of the darkness chosen their place of meditation and gathering?

All say Yes.

What is your place?

all answer Arimathor

Are your voices in agreement on this place? Is this a place of honor where those of the darkness may be seen?

All say Yes.

Do you pledge to defend your village in the name of the great Lord of Darkness?

All say Yes.

Newcomer nods.

*Newcomer steps behind the altar.*

Newcomer retrieves the note.

Your desire has been granted by the one I serve. A sign of this covenant comes. This is a covenant of the one I serve to those of the darkness.

Look to the ancient city that burns. That which marked the power of the Lord of Darkness will be removed. From this time let it be known that the village of Arimathor finds all favor in the eyes of the Lord of Darkness.

Newcomer stands in silence for a moment.

The darkness stands in your village and this temple. You have much to defend. Your success depends on honor. Your strength is in the dark arts.

Be prepared. He is pleased with your choosing.

Newcomer:

LordNatsirt: Yes?

Newcomer:
You are of the tuathas?

LordNatsirt: I do not know the tuathas.

Newcomer:
I see the remnants of the crimson glow upon you. I feel the heart of a tuathas.

LordNatsirt: I strive to do Duach's bidding.

Newcomer:

Dialogue 20
July 5, 2001

Newcomer:
You are a listener.

Chriswyn: I try to

Newcomer:
I come to answer the voices who have asked of the one I serve. Their question floats in the great halls until answered. Your voices wish to know of that which removed the marks of the Lord of Darkness from the ancient city. Is this so?

Chriswyn: Yes

Newcomer:
The covenant made by the one I serve with those who follow is sound and of the Lord of Darkness. The prophet of the sceptre rattles with empty threat and claims. Long has he of the sceptre tried to remove the marks which bore daily testament to his weakness. Long has he failed because none but the Lord of Darkness may remove that which he placed. It is so. Do not doubt.

The lord of the sceptre was wise in his time. But now his prophet seeks to claim that not of his lord, which is not open to claim. His prophet seeks to claim things beyond the truth in attempt to shake the faith of those who follow the Lord of Darkness. Do not be deceived.

EvilCait: We will not waiver.

Newcomer:
The one I serve removed his mark as promised to those who follow him. This is not an end. This is but the beginning. Who will step forward and hold a symbol of the covenant of truth from the Lord of Darkness?

all present will

Newcomer:
Come forward listener

Chriswyn bows

This is but a symbol of the covenant. This is only the beginning.

Remember.

poof

She gave me an Image of Duach, this is what it says when you "look at" it...You see a scroll containing an image of the God Duach. This item weighs 0.4 stones. This is in excellent condition (100%).

Dialogue 21
July 9, 2001

Newcomer nods at you.

Newcomer:
Be aware. These days of meditation and echoing silence will soon be replaced by cries of death.

RainbowWarrior: How shall we prepare?

Newcomer:
Prepare as you are. Become stronger. You are the Army of Darkness and none are as strong. But know that in strength is risk. But risk brings reward.

If you are strong enough. You too may evolve. As I once was, I am no longer. In the trials I passed, I am now as you see.

RubberDuck: were you like us once?

Newcomer:
I have never been mortal as you.

RainbowWarrior: What of those of the Balance and of the Light?

Newcomer:
The balance and the light do not concern us.

RubberDuck: I have a question, if I may

Newcomer walks to RubberDuck

Newcomer:
Speak your question.

RubberDuck: The other prophets tell their people to unite with all the followings.. are we to do this as well?

Newcomer:
I am not a prophet.

RubberDuck: I am sorry.. the messengers

Newcomer:
I do not prophesy. I speak the truth as it is, as told by the one I serve. Prophesy is irrelevant in the face of fact. I am the protector of my Lord of Darkness. What will be, is.

Let those of the light and balance speak their words. You of the darkness will know what to do.

Your honor guides you in your belief. Your honor unites you and gives you strength. Keep it safe. The time comes.

Dialogue 22
July 11, 2001

Newcomer waits in silence.
Newcomer waits for the faithful.

Newcomer:
Summon the faithful.

EvilCait: Yes Newcomer.

Newcomer senses the presence of the other immortal messengers.

Newcomer waits.

Newcomer:
The immortals of this Realm speak truths through their three messengers. Angry voices infect all the temples and weaken that which will help you survive what is to come.

Let no dispute sever the ties which you will need in the trials to come. poof

Dialogue 23
July 16, 2001

Note: RubberDuckie, Loyal Follower of Duach, has taken very ill in RL

Newcomer:
There is great concern in the darkness for one of those we hold dear.

Etincelle: yes, one of Duach's most faithful has taken ill

Newcomer:
The trials of life are many. The strength I have bid you to find inside is that which aids in trials. The one who faces her trial has found her strength. She is a true warrior.

Image Maker...

Etincelle: thank you for your words of comfort and strength, yes Newcomer?

Newcomer:
Take this message to her. The one I serve and his messenger meditate in honor of the trial she faces. Through the mists we send our own thoughts to her and wish a splendid victory in her battle.

Etincelle: I will do so...with great honor, thank you

Newcomer nods solemnly.

Newcomer:
Let all of the darkness send their strength to this one who needs it. It is the way of this temple.

Dialogue 24
July 23, 2001

Newcomer appeared at the Temple, hurt. She told us not to heal her, as it was a Mark. She asked if there were any among us who wish to mark our names beyond the mists?. She told us to bring a circlet of copper, so we all ran out to get copper rings and engraved them with our names. And we were commanded to walk to the Temple and not be summoned back.

Newcomer:
I await your marks. The strength of this temple has aided you?

RubberDuck: Yes. I am not fully well yet but I am on my way.

Newcomer:
A gift from Duach.

Newcomer says 'Estructos odomniu maxun!', pointing at RubberDuck. A invulnerability aura surrounds RubberDuck!

RubberDuck: Thank him

Newcomer:
You will see the strength of the gift in combat.

WizardElf: Newcomer, another comes, will you wait for her?

Newcomer:
I shall wait another unit. Let it be known. The portals which held the danger strains.

PhoenixStar: What can we do to prepare Newcomer?

Newcomer:
I must make this journey beyond the mists for your answer. The danger was present before the mists were lowered. As the mists lift, the danger nears. From beyond Avalon they gather.

Zikane: Newcomer, may I ask, what possible entity or nature of creature is beyond the portals?

Newcomer:
The danger is beyond what you have ever known. And you will die as you face it.

YoungOne: Will these mortal weapons suffice?

Newcomer:
I travel beyond the mists to see for myself the strength of the dangers.

YoungOne: Newcomer, I ask of you, is there hope for our world?

Newcomer:
The hope is inside. Many will die. The immortals will return them to life to fight again. You will learn from each experience with them. The time will come when you must learn the honor of faith. If you waiver, you will not stand.

The marks are prepared. I shall drop them on the dusts of Avalon. Those who are not here will have their chance.

I travel beyond now. I will not be gone long. Time has no meaning beyond the mists as you know it.

Dialogue 25
July 25, 2001

Newcomer gazes around wearily.

Newcomer:
I return from beyond the mists. The mists are filled with cries of fear. The portals are straining. I must rest from my long journey now. There was much to be seen.

~then~

Newcomer draws a deep breath.

Loyal followers

I have the stamina of ten thousand mortals. And yet this journey through the mists has taken much. There are intruders from the portals in the mists. The battle begins again.

I have kept the dangers at bay for now. The portals strain and will give way soon. That which has never been seen by mortals eyes will pour from the portals.

I must rest from my long journey and battle. But, the questions from the temple prevent my regeneration. Ask one question that I may answer, so that I may rest.

You choose not to ask your question?

I will return in 2 units. Prepare your question as one.

~then~

It was agreed the question would be " How should we prepare for, and help in the upcomming battle, if even one such as Yourself struggles to keep the dangers at bay?

Newcomer:
Is this your question?

all present answer yes

Newcomer:
It is true that the dangers to come are fierce. I journeyed through the mists to see for myself. It is the foe of ancient times. I perceived the threat to the one I serve and I battled to keep the portal closed. I prevailed.

You would not survive the fury of the beast in the mists. But there is hope. I must rest and speak to the one I serve.

A plan must be formed to aid mortals in this danger. You will have a chance to survive. But plans must be made. And you must not allow your strength to diminish.

All the skills will be needed and honed. I will stand between the one I serve and all dangers. None will touch my Lord of Darkness save for my dying breath.

And you who are resolved to face the dangers will be given what is needed.

Nuberu: Newcomer, can we help you in any other ways?

Newcomer:
Yes. The immortals and those who serve them take strength from the faithful. As the one I serve takes strength from you, so also do I. Bring your marks to me.

Newcomer cast dispel on a rude visitor

There are no secrets in this temple.

Soon I will return to give you instructions for marking your faith in Duach. These circlets of copper will suffice.

I am weary from the long battle. Bring the marks to me. You may now bring them.

Tuathas: Newcomer, the marks do not reach your hand.
Ramandu: rest and be well, Newcomer... praise be to Duach
Tuathas: Thank you Newcomer! Praise Duach. Rest and be well!

Newcomer listens.

Soon you will hear the cries from the mists that reach my ears even now.

poof

During her visit someone was being extremely rude. In honor of Duach, I have removed his words and his name, as they serve no purpose here. However, he was definitely deserving of the Dispel and Defenselessness that Newcomer gave him.
